St Mawes Hens, high welfare pastured eggs from Cornwall
We produce high welfare eggs and supply shops, individuals and the catering trade in Truro, Falmouth and around the Roseland peninsula and out towards Grampound and Ladock. We can deliver eggs straight to your doorstep and go out delivering twice a week.
Having previously been certfied organic, after moving we are now going through that process again, however all our birds are kept organically, kept in small flock sizes, and are fed organic feed with no chemicals, pesticides or Genetically modified ingredients. The chickens have free daytime access to green pasture where they can exhibit their natural behaviours, scratching, pecking at bugs and grass, dust bathing and generally enjoying the fresh air. Their pasture is enclosed by an electric fence to keep the foxes at bay!
In 2019 our 'Cornish Whites' free range pastured eggs and our brown Organic eggs won Taste of the West Gold awards.
